What you give us
Your name, email, business name, and whatever you include in your messages. Nothing more is collected without your knowledge.
What we do with it
We respond to your inquiry, complete your project, and send you relevant project communications. That is it. No lists, no advertising, no third-party sharing.
How long we keep it
Project files are kept for 3 years. Contact form submissions for 12 months. After that, deleted. You can request deletion at any point before then.
What we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Directly from you. When you fill out a contact form, apply to work with us, or send an email. This includes your name, email address, business name, and anything else you choose to share.
- From your project. During an active project, we collect information about your business, audience, and brand direction. This is used only to complete your project.
- From site analytics. Squarespace provides aggregated, anonymous data about how visitors use our site. This is never linked to individual identities.
- From the Meta Pixel. If you accept marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel tells us when visitors arrive from Facebook or Instagram and which pages they view. We see this only as aggregated reports.
Payment details are processed through third-party processors. We never see or store your card or bank account information.
How we use it

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Apart from the Meta Pixel described under Cookies, we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Email communications
If you contact us or become a client, we may send you project updates, invoices, and occasional information about LUMEA that may be relevant to your work. You can opt out at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or writing to hello@lumeaworld.com.
Cookies
Our website uses analytics cookies through Squarespace. With your consent, it also uses the Meta Pixel, a marketing cookie from Meta Platforms that helps us understand visits from Facebook and Instagram. Meta may use this data under its own privacy policy, including to measure and show ads. The Meta Pixel only runs if you accept marketing cookies in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also manage how Meta uses this data in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, or disable cookies in your browser.
Data retention
Client project files and communications are kept for three years after a project closes. Contact form submissions are kept for up to 12 months. After those periods, data is deleted unless we are legally required to keep it longer.
Your rights
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request that inaccurate information be corrected
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Withdraw consent for email communications at any time

Third-party services we use
- Squarespace: website platform and analytics
- Google Workspace: email and document management
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): the Meta Pixel, only with your consent
- Payment processors: billing and invoice processing
Each of these has its own privacy policy. We only share with them what is necessary to provide our services.

Do you share my work with other designers?
No. All project work is done internally by LUMEA. We do not subcontract to outside designers or share your project files with third parties without your explicit written consent.
Can I ask you to delete all my information?
Yes. Email us at hello@lumeaworld.com and we will delete your information from our systems, subject to any legal requirements that may apply (such as financial records).
Do you use my brand work in your portfolio without asking?
We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio as part of our Terms & Conditions. If you need your project kept confidential, let us know in writing before the project closes and we will honor that fully.
I am based outside the US. Does this still apply?
Yes. This policy applies to all clients and visitors regardless of location. If you are based in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR, including data portability. Contact us to exercise those rights.
