Service & Refund Policies

At LUMEA Studio, we believe in transparency and professional clarity. Below are our standard policies regarding service engagement, payments, and refunds. These policies apply to all our engagements unless otherwise specified in an individual service agreement.

1. Nature of Services

LUMEA Studio provides professional digital design and strategic consulting services. Our deliverables are customized, intangible digital goods tailored to each client's specific needs. We do not sell physical products.

2. Payment Structure

To ensure mutual commitment and reserve studio resources, we operate under the following standard payment structures:

  • Brand Projects (Seed, Bloom, Elevate): A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the project total is required to secure your spot on our calendar and commence work. The remaining 50% is due prior to the delivery of final files and launch.

  • Social Media Systems (Retainers): Monthly services are invoiced and payable in advance at the beginning of each service month.

3. Refund Policy (Important)

Due to the customized nature of our work and the intensive time required for our strategic and creative process, we maintain a strict policy regarding refunds:

  • Project Deposits: The initial 50% deposit for branding projects is non-refundable once paid. This deposit secures your place in our schedule and covers initial discovery hours, strategy, and project setup.

  • Work in Progress: We do not offer refunds for services that have already been executed or for time already invested by our team, regardless of whether the client decides not to use the final deliverables.

  • Monthly Retainers: No refunds are offered for Social Media service months already initiated or paid for. Cancellation of retainers requires a 30-day notice.

    By engaging our services, the client understands and accepts that they are paying for the studio's time, expertise, and creative process, not just a specific final outcome.

4. Timelines & Client Commitment

Estimated timelines for our Brand Systems (e.g., 4-6 weeks) are based on smooth collaboration. LUMEA Studio is not responsible for delays caused by client unresponsiveness, late delivery of necessary content (text, images), or an excessive number of revisions outside the agreed scope. We reserve the right to adjust timelines or pause projects if the client does not meet agreed-upon feedback deadlines.

5. Intellectual Property of Client Work

Upon full payment of all outstanding invoices, the client receives usage and ownership rights to the final delivered files (e.g., vector logos, web design files). LUMEA Studio retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio, website, and social media for promotional purposes, unless a specific NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) is agreed upon.
